Artist's Description
The Eads Bridge was once the longest bridge in the world spanning over 1500 feet from one bank to the other the center span is 520 feet across. The bridge has two decks so automobiles transit from Illinois to Missouri over the top and the light rail commuter train over the lower deck. Recently renovated, the Eads Bridge is a National Historic Landmark and also a National Civil Engineering Landmark. This is a digital art rendering from an original photograph.
About Randall Allen
Meet Randy Allen, President Emeritus of the St. Louis Artists Guild, retired US Navy Submariner, artist, and photographer. Randy is a well known St. Louis, Missouri artist. Randy's work has appeared in calendars and magazines, several books, and forty-five are on display as nine-foot-tall murals in two upscale apartment buildings near St. Louis's Forest Park. His pictures are on display in the KPMG offices and several other businesses in the St. Louis area as well. Randy shoots unique photographs and creates fine-art images from many of his pictures.
