On the 50th Anniversary of the Gateway Arch, the structure was lighted by golden light for a few hours. I was amazed at how few photographers I saw on the Illinois side of the Mississippi photographing this event. I thought there should have been fireworks, so I added some to this image. I also very meticulously removed all of the power lines (8 of them) that spanned the entire image.

Randy's work has appeared in calendars and magazines, several books, and forty-five are on display as nine-foot-tall murals in two upscale apartment buildings near St. Louis's Forest Park.
